Student: Sriyapai School

Hello My name is Tan. Ratiphat Buakaew . I’m study at Sriyapai School , Chumphon province. Durian in my country is an important cash crop. Durian cultivation requires a lot of water and regularity, and many plastic nursery bags are used. This causes plastic waste and microplastics to contaminate water sources. I want to do this research to help farmers.

Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

The water problem in my country is the water drought in the summer. Farmers will have a shortage of water to grow their crops. Therefore, it may not be able to cultivate plants in the summer. May cause no agricultural products to feed the people in the community

This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:

The nursery bag I researched It will help farmers in cultivating with the least amount of water. To be able to do farming during the dry season without problems
