Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

One of the water concerns in South Korea is surprisingly lack of water. While South Korea has comparatively average high annual precipitation due to high population density and small land area, the amount of freshwater available per person is less than 20% of the world average, considered under water stress.

From where comes your interest in water?

Many people in Korea, including me at one time, do not feel the lack of water directly, due to the import of products and the well-developed water systems; however, it critically affects agricultural areas, such as lands near my school, which accounts for over 60 % of that water usage.

This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:

Recognizing that water is the one most critical components of ourselves and the life on Earth, that we should consider conserving it, would be the first small step for a sustainable future.
