Mika Rotbart

Student: Hakfar Hayarok

My name is Mika Rotbart , I’m from Israel. Technology and our environmental quality are two topics I have been always passionate about, and been investing many days in researching them, in order to see how I can help improve the lives of others. In school, my major is the UAV program, and this year I became part of the program’s teaching and managing team. I am also the school’s newspaper editor.  I love volunteering and educating others about environmental topics. I consider myself an entrepreneur from a young age and have always led initiatives in my community and my school that have been breaking through in the field of technology, health, quality of life, gender equality, and more.

Tell us what the water concern in your country is!

Many of the water sources in my country are polluted, to the level that it has cost people’s lives. We have very few clean water sources which affects our health, life expectancy, and economics. We are facing a continuous water crisis.

This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:

The key is the young generation, which I am part of, taking the lead and responsibility in putting their knowledge and abilities into assuring a sustainable future. The clock is ticking and there is no time to waste. We must work hard and be committed to making a change.
