My name is Marva and I am representing Israel. I am 18 years old and I have just graduated the Israeli Arts and Science Academy which is also a boarding school that I have lived in for the past three years.
Since I was in elementary school I found great interest in science, specifically in environmental biology. In my free time I play the flute, I volunteer in a hostel for adults with autism, and I oversee the schools’ clubs.
I am very glad and excited that I have the opportunity to represent my country in this competition! 🙂
Tell us what the water concern in your country is!Israel is drying, we do not have water to waste! That is why we use purified wastewater. the problem is that wastewater contains altering gene substances (genotoxic) that could damage the public heath if it is being released to the environment without proper purification
