Hello! I’m Caleb from Singapore! I’m studying at Hwa Chong Institution. I have been fascinated with Science since young. I decided to embark on Science research because I find it exciting to be at the forefront of coming up with new ideas to solve existing problems. My dream is that one day, everyone can have the minimum access to clean drinking water. Besides Science, I enjoy playing the drums as I love expressing myself through music. I enjoy performing for others as part of the School Band’s percussion section. Lastly, I treasure the time spent with my family, which consists of my parents and my two brothers, who have given me constant support and encouragement.
Tell us what the water concern in your country is!Singapore, like many countries, faces the issue of scarce water resources. As demand for water increases, we need to look for new ways to ensure an adequate supply of water. This includes exploring new ways of purifying, recycling and supplying water, by expanding our "Four National Taps".
This is what I think is one of the solutions for a sustainable future:I believe the solution is Education and Involvement. Firstly, more of the younger generation needs to be educated on the water issues that our world faces. Secondly, more people need to be actively involved, be it raising awareness, conserving resources, researching new ideas, or implementing solutions.
